Passenger Cars, Vans and 4WD's
All children under seven years of age must be secured in a child restraint or booster seat when traveling in a vehicle.
- Babies up to 6 month of age must be restrained in a rearward facing restraints.
- Children from 6 months to 4 years of age must be restrained in a rearward facing or forward facing restraint.
- From 4 years to 7 years of age a forward facing restraint or booster seat must be used.
